Quick & Precise Cutting
The water jet quickly and precisely cuts soft and thin material as well. Our outstanding skills ensure that we provide the material you need when you need it. Water jet cutting involves pressurizing water up to 94,000 PSI, which is forced through an orifice as small as 0.003” in diameter. The water jet can entrain a garnet abrasive in the jet stream to cut virtually any material up to 14” thick and handle material up to 8’ x 14’.
We use the highest definition equipment available to achieve repeat tolerance of up to 0.001”. Perpendicular cuts can be made that need no secondary finishing, so you have no burring, no contamination, no heat, no haze and no distortion. Cold cutting allows pieces to remain flat and the quality of materials to remain unchanged, while also retaining durability and preventing warping. Intricately shaped components and prototypes can be cut quickly and then also be remanufactured unlimited times.
